Nintendo opened up the idea flood-gates when they released the Super Smash Bros. Ballot—an online voting service that allows anyone to cast their ideas for new fighters to be added to the newest installation in the popular franchise. The developers at Choice Provisions (formerly known as Gaijin Games), wants gamers to cast in their votes to see their original character, CommanderVideo, make it into the game.

Choice Provisions has shown very strong support for Nintendo platforms; from the early days of the WiiWare service to being one of the pioneers of the Nintendo eShop with the critically-acclaimed Bit.Trip series. This love has been recognized by the Big N, who went as far as to feature CommanderVideo as an unlockable trophy character in the newest Smash Bros.
