Nintendo disclosed in their investor’s meeting that the Nintendo NX will not launch this Holiday season, but instead will be coming in March 2017. In a recent interview with Nintendo’s President Mr. Kimishima, he explained that the reason for this was to ensure that there were games for the NX at launch.

When asked about what the Nintendo NX will offer, President Kimishima said the following:

At this current stage, I’m not able to say. However, it’s not merely the successor to the handheld 3DS or stationary console Wii U. This will be hardware that’s been made with a new way of thinking. I’d like to announce more particulars regarding its specs and how it works another time this year.

It will be interesting to see when we get our first NX details!
