Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was a surprise announcement for Nintendo Switch owners. After seeing DOOM during the last direct, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was also announced for the Switch, coming in Spring 2018. While DOOM has both a single and multiplayer component to the game, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a single player only experience. In a recent interview with Lead designer Tommy Tordsson Björk, he explained why the game is a single player only adventure:

The only way we can create these super immersive narrative experiences is if we can solely focus on the single-player.
Having a multiplayer component in this work process would just dilute it all. That’s the danger if you try to do two things at once

Do you wish the game featured both aspects with a single and multiplayer experience, or are you happy with a deep narrative? Let us know in the comments below.
