Although Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Ageon Nintendo Switch won’t be out for awhile, we know it’s in development. Square Enix recently unveiled a few details about the game, which should please the Dragon Quest fans out there.
The Switch version of Dragon Quest XI is confirmed to be based on the Playstation 4 version, rather than the 3DS version.

When development on the title started, the Nintendo Switch developer kits couldn’t run Unreal Engine 4. Now, the team has to develop the game for Nintendo’s unique hardware system, which is challenging to predict a timeframe for.
