A lot of Nintendo Switch titles offer the ability to record thirty seconds of gameplay footage at any time. It’s a great feature that’s useful when recording victory royales in Fortnite or epic goals in Rocket League (etc.). Unfortunately, not all games available on Switch support it. Two new titles, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy do not offer the video capture feature. I played Wolfenstein II on Switch and can confirm the feature is currently not available. As for Crash Bandicoot, a Twitter user uploaded a screenshot confirming the title also doesn’t offer video capture. Their screenshot and tweet can be seen down below.

Keep in mind, a handful of games have launched without this feature initially and it was later added (Rocket League for example), so there is still hope that video capture will make it to these titles in the near future. Although, with how much these games are pushing the Switch hardware, I assume the Switch needs to take advantage of all the power it can get. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy are both available tomorrow on June 29th. Do you plan on picking up either of these fantastic titles?
