Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the mobile version of Animal Crossing, continues to draw in players with its events. This one is another gardening event titled “Bloomin’ Booty with Kapp’n.” Phase one of the event has just finished, but worry not–phase two has just begun, and there are still lots of really cool prizes up for grabs. I highly recommend you pair up with a buddy who plays regularly so you both can swap bugs with each other and reap the rewards. It’s truly the best method for getting all you can out of this event instead of relying on strangers. The event runs until July 17th, so you still have time to catch up.
The basic info you need to know is this: Kapp’n arrives at your campsite in search of a rare type of ladybug: Dappledots. In order to help him, you need to grow certain types of flowers that attract them; these are various types of sunflowers (white, yellow, orange). Don’t forget to harvest your extra flowers for plant food. (Trust me, you will need it.) If you don’t want to wait you can always pay Leaf Tickets to the ever so helpful gyroid Lloid, who will either catch the bugs for you or use his special plant food to speed up the growing process. You also get extra rewards for dropping bugs off at your friend’s gardens. It’s a fun little event for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and definitely encourages players to play on a more regular basis.
