Like clockwork, Nintendo has released yet another minor system update for the Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds.
The update brings the firmware version up to 11.8.0.-41. So, what new goodies does it bring to the table? Not much at all, really. It turns out that this is just another “stability improvement” update. At this point, it feels as though the system has gotten a million of these:
Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.
These sort of minor incremental updates have become known for pretty much being security patches that cover up exploits. Still, you’ll need to download this update in order to access the Nintendo eShop.
