The demo for Valkyria Chronicles 4 is now available in the Nintendo Switch eShop. The demo comes a month before its worldwide release on September 25 and almost nine months since it was first announced. The newest installment in the series runs on the CANVAS engine, continuing its watercolor-like presentation and art style.
As for its setting, the game takes place in Europa (which is loosely based on Europe) during the year 1935 EC and follows the start of operation Northern Cross by Commander Claude Wallace and his group of soldiers known as Squad E. The Valkyria Chronicles series began in 2008 and was first launched on the PlayStation 3. Six years later the series made its way to PC as a Microsoft Windows version was created.
The first game also won numerous awards. In 2010 it received recognition from the Guinness World Records as the best strategy role-playing game on the PlayStation 3. Are you going to download the demo? Comment below!
