After years of outcry from fans, King K. Rool is finally a part of the Super Smash Bros. series.
Nintendo revealed King K. Rool as the latest playable Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character in the direct on August 8, which also unveiled Simon Belmont as a new character.

King K. Rool made his debut in Donkey Kong Country back in 1994, and has been a Nintendo staple since. He’ll be playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate when it launches for Switch on December 7.
