Although previously hit with a delay, Dark Souls: Remastered will officially launch for Nintendo Switch on October 19. The Solaire of Astora amiibo will be available on the same day. This information comes courtesy of Bandai Namco, who also say that an online network test for the game will occur in advance of the release. It has also been confirmed that the game will display in 1080p on TV and 720p handheld, and it will play at 30fps in either case.
I bet a lot of readers are psyched to finally get their Dark Souls fix on a Nintendo platform. Somehow, I’ve never gotten around to playing this series before. Am I insane? Leave a comment and do your best to convince me to buy this!
