Pokémon GO has returned to being the #1 spot on the App Store this week in the U.S., according to stats from mobile analytics firm Sensor Tower. With the recent Community Day, it is no wonder why it jumped from #14 to #1 on August 12th. Players were out in full force trying to catch those Eevees!
You can view the chart below to see the tracking of how high it went on that day. The numbers don’t lie, and this is good news. It really keeps Pokémon GO fresh when they keep doing in-game events such as Community Days or adding new Pokémon to catch via research tasks.
Are you still an active Pokémon GO player? What did you think of the last Community Day? Do you think this momentum can last, especially with Pokémon: Let’s Go due out in November? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and happy Pokémon hunting!
