Bandai Namco producer Tomoko Hiroki recently expressed gratitude regarding the situation and thanked the fans for their enthusiasm behind Dragon Ball FighterZ making its way to the Switch.

The Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming out September 28, 2018. I would like to say that it’s really thanks to the support of the fans and the voices from the fans requesting for the Switch version that we were able to go into development. So I would like to show our appreciation.”
