RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures for Nintendo Switch has officially gone gold. That’s a fancy way of saying that core development has been completed and the release version has been approved for print, which signals that the game will be heading to store shelves fairly soon.

This milestone has been confirmed by Sylvain Constanti, the Executive Producer as Nvizzio which is the studio responsible for developing RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures.

Despite this announcement, an actual release date has not yet been given. The game’s listing on the official Rollercoaster Tycoon website still shows it as “Q4 2018”. But, we can still guess. Considering that it’s now gone gold, it wouldn’t be surprising if the game ends up launching sometime in October, if not November. Whatever the case, here’s hoping this turns out to be a truly competent release, unlike the now infamous Rollercoaster Tycoon World.
