Nintendo had planned a beefy, 35-minute Nintendo Direct that was supposed to air last Thursday, September 9. However, they then decided to delay the Direct out of respect for the victims of the abrupt and awful Hokkaido earthquakes in Japan. There is now a credible rumor circulating from Nintendo Life that the Nintendo Direct has its long-awaited date decided: Nintendo Direct rescheduled for Thursday, September 13 at 3 p.m. PDT.
This would locate it exactly one week past its original scheduled time, which seems kind of appropriate. Whether the Direct will be exactly the same as before or if it will be reedited remains to be seen though. After all, several verrry interesting announcements for Switch have slipped out in the past few days, and some of them were almost definitely meant to be revealed first in the Nintendo Direct.
Still, there are bound to be some great and exciting surprises left over, so stay tuned for official confirmation on this rumor!
