Katamari Damacy is coming to the Nintendo Switch. During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was revealed the beloved PlayStation 2 title will release as Katamari Damacy Reroll. Reroll is a remaster of the original, and is due out Nov. 30 on the Nintendo eShop. A physical edition will release this winter.

Reroll will feature gyro controls, in addition to HD Rumble and single Joy-Con controls for co-op. No other details have been announced yet, but we’ve got all we need to be excited.
Katamari Damacy is a game in which you play as the Prince, and must roll a sticky ball around to create a bigger ball and recreate the universe. Simple and odd, the game is known for its fun premise, terrific soundtrack, and bizarre humor. This is the first time we’ve seen Katamari on a console since the 2009 PlayStation 3 exclusive Katamari Forever. Outside of a few mobile and portable titles, the series hasn’t seen a proper return to gaming. Reroll isn’t a new entry in the franchise, but revisiting the classic first title in the series for Switch is a step in the right direction.
Furthermore, Bandai Namco was recently reported to have trademarked Katamari Damacy Reroll this week, as well as Katamari Damacy Encore. Katamari creator Keita Takahashi hinted at a revisit with the franchise back in August.
i just needed to take a look at my old games for secret reason, and that reminds me old/good memories of course.

Takahashi will see his latest game, Wattam, release on PlayStation 4 this year.
