Spintires: MudRunner was confirmed for a Switch release earlier this year. But, there was no word from the developers at Saber Interactive nor the publishers at FOCUS Home Interactive as to exactly when the game would launch on the hybrid system. Now, we have a much clearer release window: November.
While an exact date has not been announced yet, it has been confirmed via a recent news update that MudRunner will be coming to Switch about two months from now. Pre-orders have opened as well, and it turns out that the Switch version will cost the same as the other platforms: $39.99.
The Switch version is tied to the American Wilds DLC expansion pack, which will be coming to the other platforms a little sooner on Oct. 23. Thus, the Switch version will include the all-new content of nine U.S. trucks, two new sandbox maps, and two new challenge maps. In addition to this, all of the content from the base game along with the previously-released DLC content will be included in the Switch release.
There still haven’t been any screenshots or gameplay clips of the Switch version of Spintires: MudRunner. Hopefully, those will come soon with the release being so close.
