Credible rumors first appeared last week when a user found the listing on the web portal for the eShop. Now, with no formal prior announcement, Nintendo has casually launched the app on the eShop. Quick, everyone pretend to be surprised!
But, seriously, it is surprising that it’s taken this long for YouTube to hit the Switch. The service has already been on Wii, Wii U, and 3DS, so it’s still odd that it’s taken its own sweet time to come to the Switch. But, as the old saying goes: “Better late than never”.
Now Nintendo, can we do something about Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Spotify?
Having been introduced to video games at the age of 3 via a Nintendo 64, A.K has grown up in the culture. A fan of simulators and racers, with a soft spot for Nintendo! But, he has a great respect for the entire video game world and enjoys watching it all expand as a whole.
