Players are refiring to this issue as the ‘reconnect bug.’ Once the connection error occurs players become unable to reconnect their Nintendo Switch despite multiple attempts. In order to resolve this issue, players have deleted and reinstalled the Pokémon GO application from their smartphones. This solution will fix the reconnect bug, but players will lose the Pokémon that were not successfully transferred.
