What makes the Nintendo Switch special is that it has a tablet body with the power of a home console. One talented Nintendo fan decided to take this hybrid design quite literally and somehow managed to cram the innards of a Wii into a shell that looks like a Switch.

While the shell isn’t anywhere near as sleek as an actual Switch, this is still a pretty good job nonetheless.

From ‘Predue’ on Thingiverse

The fan goes by the username of ‘Predue’ and posted his schematics over on Thingiverse (and also features a video showing the unit functioning). The Thingiverse page also includes 3D models of the design and the materials he used to build it. If you actually want to attempt the project on your own, you can 3D print Predue’s plans.
