Yes, the rumors were genuine. Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled is headed to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on June 21, 2019. This is a remake of the original Crash Team Racing, and it’s being developed by Beenox for Activision. Congratulations to all the long-time fans who are finally getting a prettied up version of the game. Personally, I’ve never played this one, but I know how beloved it is.
CTR originally released for PlayStation 1 back in the ripe old age of 1999, when I was in… fourth grade, I think? Yeah, that was a good time, coming home from school, watching Toonami on Cartoon Network, and playing Nintendo 64 and PlayStation 1.
