Not many expected Fire Emblem Heroes, the franchise’s iOS and Android entry, to see massive success after its release. However, the game has slowly and steadily turned into a behemoth. Since its launch, Fire Emblem Heroes has brought in $465 million, averaging $21 million per month. By comparison, Super Mario Run has brought in a total of just over $60 million, nearly eight times less than Fire Emblem.
However, last month the game saw its revenue slow, bringing in a little less than $14 million. Although still a respectable sum, it is about a third less than the average revenue prior to this month. The game’s largest market is Japan, where players spent 60 percent of the game’s revenue. The US accounted for 28 percent of the total.
