After a wild Community Day to end 2018, Niantic has announced the featured Pokémon for 2019’s first Pokémon GO Community Day. On January 12th from 11 am – 2 pm PT trainers will encounter Totodile more frequently in the wild.
It’s time to start the new year with a splash, Trainers! Next month’s #PokemonGOCommunityDay will be held during the second weekend of January, featuring the Water-type Pokémon Totodile! ?https://t.co/d9NW6x5gaF pic.twitter.com/qhRmBrtrJ0

There’s no shortage of bonuses with this Community Day. Trainers can look forward to 3 hours lures and 1/4 Egg hatch distance. If trainers evolve Croconaw into Feraligatr during the event, Feraligatr will learn a special move (will be announced at a later date). Of course, there’s also a good chance you will encounter a Shiny Totodile so be sure to catch as many as possible!
