Gaming as an adult is very hard to do. When you are stuck with a full-time job, it can be difficult to chip away at that ever-increasing backlog. Not so if you are retired, however. Just look at this 87-year-old grandma, who logged 3850 in the 3DS title, Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
Slow down, granny!

My 87-year-old grandma has played Animal Crossing New Leaf on her 3DS every single day for the past 4 years now.
Her 3DS finally broke this year, so we got her a new one for Christmas. During a system transfer I checked her activity log: pic.twitter.com/R33KycrW4q

Dear lord, Paul, your grandma does not mess around. She’s been managing her town for four years and has played New Leaf over 2500 times?! I wish I had that amount of time to devote to my entire backlog.
Check out grandma’s gaming face:

Since New Leaf has not had an update in a while, Paul is thinking about getting his grandma the upcoming Switch title in the Animal Crossing series. Hopefully, he’ll sell enough copies of his video game to finance the purchase.
Stories such as this make me long for retirement, and I am about to be 34. When that time comes, I hope to be devoting as much time as Paul’s grandma does to gaming.
How do you feel about grandma’s dedication? Do any of you wonderful people game as hardcore as Paul’s relative? Let us know in the comment field below.
