Can you believe Breath of the Wild has been out for almost two years? Gamers have been getting their money’s worth out of the game, finding glitches and using mods to maximize their enjoyment. This streak of making your own fun continues today, as gamers are now taking up what they refer to as the Bookcase Challenge.
Great, even more tomes to conquer
The Bookcase Challenge started off in December when a Reddit user named Yoshinkling took a bookshelf from Hyrule Castle and brought it back to Link’s home using Magnesis.
Boredom does not exist in Breath of the Wild, clearly.
Other BotW players took notice of Yosinkling’s idea, upvoting their post over 10,000 times. Within a week’s time, others were offering their own unique take on the Bookcase Challenge.
Some, like loyalmarowak65, decided to rudely pollute a Great Fairy Fountain:
Others, such as nerdybirb, decided to test the title’s physics with a balancing act:
Above all, whatever the (book)case, it looks like players are never tired of keeping Breath of the Wild amusing with their own fun. I, for one, am happy to see gamers keep BotW alive in diverse ways while anxiously waiting for the next title in the series. Who knows? Maybe Bookcase Challenge memes are coming next! Hahaha…
