As one of the bigger titles Switch fans are anticipating this year, it’s natural that we’re all hungry to learn when we can get our hands on Metroid Prime 4. Fans of the sexy and badass bounty hunter Samus Aran have especially been hungry for this release. After all, the last game came out in 2007. If you want to count Metroid Prime Trilogy, that came out for Wii in 2009.
Well, it seems that the holidays are *ahem* “prime” for some first person arm cannon action. According to a listing on Czech retailer SuperGamer, we can expect Metroid Prime 4 on November 29th, 2019.
Without confirmation from Nintendo, this is clearly one for the rumor pile. Although it does make sense to have such a big release come out late in the year. This would certainly place Metroid Prime 4 as the big Switch title to get for Christmas, but also give plenty of time for media, content creators, and fans to check out the game during upcoming events. Don’t be surprised if E3 2019 gives us a tasty helping of gameplay to sink our teeth into.
Hopefully, we’ll get confirmation soon as there are rumblings for a Nintendo Direct this month (check out our video below for more on that!). Perhaps this leak will push an official release date announcement for Metroid Prime 4 soon. Stay tuned.
