Dataminers are basically the people who, as little kids, secretly opened all their Christmas presents before Christmas and then rewrapped them. They datamined Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for upcoming DLC characters, and now they have allegedly datamined the Nintendo Switch Online service. Twitter user @KapuccinoHeck claims a whopping 22 SNES games are planned for the future, including Star Fox 2, which released for the first time only in 2017 as part of the SNES Classic:
- Breath of Fire II
- Contra III: The Alien Wars
- Demon’s Crest
- Kirby’s Dream Course
- Kirby’s Dream Land 3
- Kirby Super Star
- The Legend of the Mystical Ninja
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
- Pop’n Twinbee
- Star Fox
- Star Fox 2
- Stunt Race FX
- Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts
- Super Mario All-Stars
- Super Mario Kart
- Super Mario World
- Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island
- Super Metroid
- Super Punch-Out!!
- Super Soccer
Additionally, the same Twitter user who datamined Splatoon 2, OatmealDome, is claiming that two additional emulators exist within Switch Online for playing things that aren’t NES and SNES games:
Kachikachi (NES Classic)
Canoe (SNES Classic)
This could mean there will be two new Classic consoles and/or three new consoles for Switch Online.

Are Nintendo 64 games on the horizon? GameCube games? Uh, Dreamcast games? Whatever it ends up being, Switch Online subscribers are pretty hungry for more content, so anything is welcome right now.
What do you think is coming to the service next? Let the mad speculation commence in the comments!
