Upon the reveal of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy last year, fans were shocked to see the character’s updated outing not make it to Nintendo Switch. After all, Spyro’s brand buddy, Crash Bandicoot, made his appearance on the console. Now, after months of miscellaneous rumors pointing to the Switch release, a credible rumor has popped up online.
According to GameStop Germany, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is set to release for Switch on August 16. The listing’s featured photo is a mere stock logo so it’s unknown if the rumored title will receive a physical version. Seeing as this date falls on a Friday, a release wouldn’t be out of the ordinary. We didn’t get word of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy for Switch well into 2018, and the same may for Spyro’s hit remake this year.
