One of the issues that come with taking any piece of electronic equipment out of your house is the likelihood that it will be either lost or misplaced. People do it all the time. For gamers, the risk is losing the system, but the likelihood of losing those tiny game cartridges is far greater. That’s what’s happened to a Switch owner over in New York City while they were taking the subway.
Someone spotted the person dropping their Switch game case on the subway. The owner left the scene without picking it up, but a good samaritan that witnessed the incident managed to retrieve it.
That kind soul has put up a neat little poster in the subway station announcing that they’ve found the case and is hunting for the rightful owner:
This picture was obtained from ResetEra, which pointed to an unlinked Facebook post. So, it’s unclear if the matter has been resolved yet. Regardless, hopefully this awesome gesture will result in the owner being reunited with their game collection if that has not yet happened already.
Now, I need to go and make my own poster since I can’t find any of my 3DS cartridges. No worries, though, they’re just somewhere in the house…
