LEGO Link - The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening - Nintendo

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was just announced as a remake of the original for the Nintendo Switch later this year. One Reddit user, u/gregktm, has designed a Link in honor of the game built out of LEGO bricks. The Link follows the format of the LEGO Brickheadz line where characters are constructed in a blocky fashion using several pieces for the features on each figure.

This Link “Brickheadz” style figure is sure to win over the heart of any Zelda fan. Surely, LEGO should be getting on the horn with Nintendo to secure a license and put this out right away! Okay, maybe in a perfect world. But, I’m sure the realm of licensing properties is more complicated than we’d like to think. However, if you are a LEGO builder yourself, perhaps you can use this concept to design your very own Link.

Be sure to check out this designer’s Instagram page, as well. This is far from their first LEGO Brickheadz concept. Speaking in terms of Nintendo, you can find other iterations of Link, Ganondorf, and even various Pokémon and Pokémon characters.

Personally, I think this artist should have a job over at LEGO (if they don’t already). If you have any inventive Nintendo-themed LEGO creations, we’d like to hear about them in the comments below!
