Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution Nintendo Switch exclusive summer 2019

It’s a really good time to be a Switch owner who loves collectible card games. Because in addition to Super Dragon Ball Heroes, we now have confirmation that Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution will come west as a Switch exclusive this summer. The game will allow you to play through many of the classic stories from the animated series, and you’ll even be able to play as the villains in bouts called “Reverse Duels.”

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution will include over 9,000 cards for deck-building, the most ever seen for a video game adaptation of the series, and you will be able to play against other players locally and via Switch Online. Check out the trailer below.

The graphics won’t make Xbox One X owners cry, but that’s not what anybody plays these games for anyway. I’m genuinely excited for this one, as the only other Yu-Gi-Oh! game I ever played was Dark Duel Stories on Game Boy Color, which was really fun and addictive. I’d like to relive some of that fun at my current, ancient age.

What are you more excited for — this game or Super Dragon Ball Heroes? Let us know which one and why!

  1. You do know that Dark Duel Stories is nothing like Legacy of the Duelist right? If thats the only yugioh game you’ve played, you will be lost and overwhelmed by how much the game has changed. Just a heads up
