We all know that E3 is the biggest gaming convention around, so it attracts attention from improbable corners. For instance, Netflix will be there as part of E3 Coliseum 2019. E3 Coliseum is described as “a spectacular main stage that brings video game fans closer to their favorite games and creators.” Next up, E3 Twitter has announced that the coliseum in LA will hold a panel with the writers and producers of The Simpsons on Tuesday, June 11 at 6 p.m.

Since E3 Coliseum is video game-centric, it certainly suggests that the makers of The Simpsons are involved in some sort of new video game for the franchise. However, no game has currently been announced. EA has been the exclusive publisher of The Simpsons games since 2005. The last game published was the mobile title, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, for iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire starting back in 2012.
Series fans have been starved for something new on consoles for some time now. Back in the day, I personally loved The Simpsons: Road Rage as the most wonderful Crazy Taxi clone imaginable. Hit & Run was a terrific Grand Theft Auto clone as well.
If a new game gets announced, what would you hope for it to be? Let us know!
