Pokémon Quest is headed to China, as announced in the official 2019 Pokemon press conference.
Ethan Wang from NetEase took the stage to announce the forthcoming release, as well as confirm that other Pokémon games are headed to China in the future. Currently, NetEase has four of the top ten games in China. The updated Pokémon Quest will have added PVP and newly added social systems. 1.7 million players have already pre-registered for the mobile title.
The game originally launched for iOS and Android on May 29, 2018, to great success. Its release in China will only bolster that all-important download number.
