With Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled just a few weeks away, the official file size for the title has been revealed. Nintendo Switch owners picking it up digitally will need at least 5.7GB of free space on their system, per the eShop listing.

The Bandicoot and his friends are back

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is the hotly anticipated, updated version of Crash Team Racing. The original launched exclusively for the PS1 back in 1999. It’s a better situation for the majority of fans now, though, as the remaster is releasing across all consoles. The updated installment includes all content from the original game along with new features; specifically, it boasts new karts and tracks. However, developer Beenox has been somewhat vague on exactly these new gameplay offerings entail. And while it is a multiplatform release, the PS4 version still has some exclusive content

Technical specifications regarding the game haven’t been released. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy ran at 720P while docked, but in 480P in handheld mode. Framerate-wise, it stayed at a consistent 30 FPS in each play style. It’s not off base to assume the upcoming release will be similar, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Are you looking forward to Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled on Switch? Have you played the original, or will the remaster be your first time with the spinoff? Be sure to let us know down in the comments section. It launches on June 21.
