If extreme demon-targeted violence is your thing, you certainly won’t want to miss Doom Eternal. Luckily, you won’t have too long to wait. Bethesda announced tonight during their E3 press conference that Doom Eternal is launching November 22, alongside a collector’s edition.
The sequel to 2016’s reboot of the franchise, Doom Eternal picks up directly where Doom left off. Demons are invading Earth, and it’s up to you to stop them. You have a destructive arsenal at your disposal, including both old favorites and new toys. You also have a new suite of mobility options, allowing the fast-paced combat to reach new speeds. Get your chainsaws ready!
New to Doom Eternal is a multiplayer mode called BATTLEMODE. This mode sees two player-controlled demons teaming up to take down a third player wielding a fully-armed Doom Slayer across three rounds of high-intensity combat. More information about the game mode will be revealed at QuakeCon 2019. For now though, we have a great trailer showcasing the feature.
