In the days leading up to E3, Goichi Suda, better known to fans as Suda51, took to Twitter with some new character illustrations. Alongside these drawings was a simple message, “Preparing for E3 now,” teasing that he would have something to show off. And show off something he did, as Nintendo unveiled No More Heroes 3 during today’s presentation.

It’s been almost a decade since the last main No More Heroes game was released, but No More Heroes 3 looks like it hasn’t skipped a beat. Travis’s signature beam katana makes a return as his tool of choice for beating up baddies. Along with his trademark quips and one-liners, fans of the franchise should feel right at home.

Today’s trailer features Travis donning mechanical armor and flying off to some upside-down flying pyramids. There he fights some robotic mannequins in traditional No More Heroes style. Of course, this includes some awesome wrestling moves. The trailer ends soon after, but not before teasing the return of recurring character Sylvia Christel. No More Heroes 3 looks like it’s going to be an action-filled ride, which, judging by prior games, is more of a promise than a hope.
