GBA Harvest Moon remake heads west Story of Seasons: Reunion at Mineral Town

We told you about Story of Seasons: Reunion at Mineral Town the other day. It’s a Nintendo Switch remake of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town on Game Boy Advance. The game releases on Oct. 17 in Japan, and we’ve been really hoping an international announcement would soon follow… and it has! That Harvest Moon remake will be yours, as Marvelous Entertainment confirms Story of Seasons will arrive in North America and Europe after its domestic release.

You can check out the first, albeit Japanese, trailer for the game below. It begins with some real-world footage of some cute white kids chilling with some animals. Then it jumps into the real meat, showing off that (I guess?) exciting farming action, fishing, horse racing, and most importantly of all — finding true love. It checks all the boxes for a beloved Harvest Moon remake.

Like we said in the previous article, you don’t need to wait too long for more farming simulation on your Switch. Doraemon Story of Seasons is already coming to Switch in North America this fall. If you like relaxing with the simple life, but on a TV screen rather than surrounded by bugs, this could be just the thing for you.
