One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 Switch 2020, Koei Tecmo, Omega Force, and Bandai Namco

One Piece: Pirates Warriors 4 is heading to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2020. This info comes by way of Anime Expo 2019. The game is being developed by Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo Games, and Omega Force. Koei and Omega are of course the same dudes working on Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. You can expect more of that classic Warriors gameplay like we saw in Hyrule Warriors. Check out the reveal trailer for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 below.

An enhanced port of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 came to Nintendo Switch in North America in May of last year, so this will be the second outing for the series on Switch.

Being completely honest, I know almost literally nothing about One Piece. I know the main character’s name is Luffy, there is a pirate theme, and you can buy a statue of some heavily-endowed lady that changes colors according to temperature. I know genuinely nothing else about it. But I do know it’s extremely popular, with the manga surpassing Dragon Ball for lifetime sales, so it’s clearly got a fan base — probably including you, if you’re reading this.

Let us know if you’re excited for One Piece: Pirate Warrior 4, or any other project that Koei Tecmo and Omega Force are cooking up.
