Directly after unveiling the Nintendo Switch Lite to the public, Nintendo has shown off its first special edition release of their latest handheld. Pokémon fans who plan on purchasing a Nintendo Switch Lite can grab a Pokémon Sword/Shield-themed handheld, with the newly announced Nintendo Switch Lite Zacian and Zamazenta Edition. The special Pokemon Nintendo Switch Lite is designed after both of their respective games’ legendary Pokémon. The exclusive console will retail for the Lite’s regular pricing at $200.

“November is shaping up to be a big month for Pokémon fans, with the arrival of this special hardware followed by the launch of the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games one week later,” Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser stated in a press release. “The Nintendo Switch Lite Zacian and Zamazenta Edition will be a great gift for Pokémon fans who want to play the latest games on the go.”

Due to the fact that Pokémon Sword/Shield will be releasing on November 15, this special edition console, which will be available on November 8, will not include Pokémon Sword or Shield pre-loaded on their hardware. Also, this handheld boasts both legendary Pokémon from the upcoming Sword/Shield games, so pre-loading a console with one game or the other seems odd.

Pre-orders for the console haven’t launched as of yet, but they are “coming soon,” according to Nintendo.
