Octopath Traveler Break, Boost and Beyond

Back in March, Square Enix announced that Octopath Traveler would be getting a live concert during the summer of this year. The live event, which will be held at the end of this month on July 28, 2019, would be known as Octopath Traveler: Break, Boost and Beyond. Square Enix revealed that the concert would feature live performances of music from the arrangement album Octopath Traveler: Break & Boost, which was released back in February. The concert will also feature brand new arrangement made exclusively for the concert.

Well, this week Square Enix released a promo trailer for the upcoming show that’s set to take place at the Olympus Hall Hachioji in Tokyo. In the video, we can see the Break & Boost composer, Yasutoshi Nishiki, working alongside his team to perfect the upcoming performance of music for Break, Boost and Beyond.

Additional details for Break, Boost and Beyond can be seen at Square Enix’s official website. It’s been noted that every ticket purchaser enters a lottery-type event in which attendees can win the chance for a meet-and-greet with Octopath Traveler composer Yasutoshi Nishiki. Merchandise available at the event include t-shirts, a tote bag, CDs including a special extended edition of Break & Boost with commentary, a short story collection based on the game, and a very cool Octopath Traveler golden music box. If you can read and understand Japanese, the event’s official Twitter is also uploading exclusive footage from the concert organizers and composer.
