Years ago, developer Chubby Pixel released an adorable N64-inspired game titled Woodle Tree Adventures for Steam and Wii U. The game was a cute callback to games like Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, with smooth, nostalgic-like textures, and floaty jumping mechanics. This week, Chubby Pixel will see the release of Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe, which is a sequel to the original Woodle Tree Adventures, and an exclusive Nintendo Switch release title. The game will drop in just two days –– July 25, 2019.
Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe will be an open-world adventure game that has the player assume the role of Woodle, aiding in his quest to defeat the evil who are using a black substance to absorb the life from the Wood Lands. There’s new puzzles, movesets, co-op multiplayer with up to four players, and new platforming sections.
