Dragon Quest XI S World of Erdrea trailer

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition is not even two months away anymore, much to our excitement. To keep the hype train going, Nintendo has released a short “World of Erdrea” trailer to showcase many of the different creatures and landscapes to explore in the game world. It also shows the protagonist riding a couple different icky monsters, which is a nice surprise. Check it out.

If Erdrea is not enough, don’t forget Dragon Quest XI S will feature an ability to travel back to new 2D renditions of the game worlds from all of the previous Dragon Quest games. There will also be DLC that allows you to hear symphonic Dragon Quest VIII music in the game.

At some point, the game will receive a gameplay demo in Japan. There’s no word on if that demo will be available in other countries, but if you just set up a Japanese Switch account, you should be able to access it all the same.

And lastly, Japan is also currently enjoying Dragon Quest: Your Story, an astoundingly beautiful new CGI film based on the story of Dragon Quest V. These are some of the best times we’ve ever had as Dragon Quest fans, without even factoring in the arrival of the Hero in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
