Konami TurboGrafx-16 Mini final lineup adds 7 more games for 57 total

Last month, Konami took the lid off of most of the TurboGrafx-16 Mini lineup, revealing a total of 50 English and Japanese games for the console. However, as we reported, there was a likelihood that even more games would be revealed for the finalized lineup, and that has now panned out. A new video from Konami reveals a “full lineup” of 57 games for TurboGrafx-16 Mini.

The new additions to the game for the North American market are as follows:

  • Dragon Spirit
  • The Genji and the Heike Clans
  • The Legend of Valkyrie
  • Galaga ‘88
  • Splatterhouse
  • Seirei Senshi Spriggan
  • Spriggan Mark 2

You can view the other 50 titles included in the TurboGrafx-16 Mini in our previous article.

TurboGrafx-16 Mini will launch on March 19, 2020 for $99.99 and is available for preorder exclusively at Amazon. Additional peripherals for the mini console will launch with it, including a Hori Turbo Controller and Multi Tap for five controllers. Sure, they could have just built the Mini to support more controllers in the first place, but that wouldn’t have been true to the console, right? Or more accurately, that wouldn’t have given Konami a chance to siphon an extra $29.99 from you, which wouldn’t be sporting at all!

Jokes aside, for its intended niche audience, TurboGrafx-16 Mini will probably be a big hit. If it ever gets a discount, I’ll grab one. What about you?
