The critically-acclaimed racing simulator from Codemasters, GRID Autosport, was first announced to be coming to Switch at the tail-end of 2018. Since then, there hasn’t been much murmuring from its development studio at Feral Interactive. But now, we finally have confirmation as to when the game would be released—September.

Sneakily-revealed in a simple tweet to someone asking about the release, Feral Interactive has confirmed that GRID will be making its way to the hybrid platform in just a matter of weeks.

This news comes at the same time that the reboot of GRID is being shown off for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Stadia at Gamescom 2019. Unfortunately, that actually brand-new entry of GRID has not yet been announced for the Switch (and there’s no telling if it ever will come on over). Nonetheless, it’s nice that a totally authentic racing simulator is finally coming to the Switch.
