Untitled Goose Game

Do you recall hearing about Untitled Goose Game last year? The idea of controlling a goose who is an absolute jerk to the human population turned heads with such a unique premise. A Switch version was announced last August with a vague release date of 2019. Glory days are upon us now, however, as publisher Panic Inc. and developer House House revealed a September 20, 2019 launch.

Honk if you think Untitled Goose Game should have a better name

Here is the unveiling video below:

Wow, look at that ruffian. Stealing from the locals. Scaring visually impaired children. And judging by the last shot, responsible for second-degree murder. I thought Grand Theft Auto had morally repugnant characters but this goose is way worse.

Still, it’s fun to play as the antagonist in a video game. Causing mayhem is a great way to let off some steam. The indie game will probably lead to a rise in anti-geese sentiment, though.

Untitled Goose Game will release September 20, 2019, through the Nintendo eShop. This means it is launching the same day as a little known title called The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. Godspeed and good luck to you, fowl creature.

Are any geese enthusiasts picking up Untitled Goose Game? Will you pass up Link’s Awakening for it? Let us know below!
