Romancing SaGa 3 comes west Nov. 11, SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions in December

The wait grows far shorter after all. Romancing Saga 3 will release internationally for Nintendo Switch on Nov. 11, and SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions will release on Dec. 3. The former is an HD remaster of a 1995 Super Famicom game that previously never released officially in English. The latter is an expanded port of a PlayStation Vita title. Both games will release digitally. Check out the epic new trailer for Romancing SaGa 3, which is giving me Final Fantasy VI flashbacks with its music and art style.

SaGa 3 will have new storylines, a Phantom Maze dungeon, and New Game+ offerings, which all sounds terrific to me. This series has never been as beloved in the west as Final Fantasy or even Dragon Quest, but part of the reason is that we used to have pretty limited access to SaGa compared to the others. It’s nice that the pendulum has finally swung the other way in that regard.

In total, Romancing SaGa 3 will release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, PC, Android, and iOS. SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions will release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, Android, and iOS. Are you likely to pick up one or both of them? Let us know!
