3D World speed comparison

Video games are an endless source of all kinds of fun and engaging experiences, including powerful stories, intriguing gameplay, and priceless bonding experiences with others. As today is Thanksgiving in America, I thought it would be appropriate for today’s Ask the Audience to reflect on some video game experiences that we are thankful for. What comes to mind for you?

For me, I think of my second playthrough of Super Mario 3D World. I initially played the game the year it came out, primarily playing by myself. In Spring 2017, my freshman year of college, I set out to play the game again. I already knew it was an excellent game – what made this playthrough particularly special was the person I played it with. I played through the game with a girl who lived in the dorm neighboring mine. We were still getting to know each other at the time, and by the time we were approaching the end of the game, we had started dating. Four years later, we’re engaged, and working on another playthrough of Super Mario 3D World on Switch.

What is a video game experience that you are thankful for? What was so special about it? Let us know in the comment section below.
