a link to the past

Another weekend is upon us, and if you are lucky, you might find the time to sink your teeth into a game or two. What games might that entail for you? Whether you are knee-deep in the latest release or cruising through your backlog, let’s hear what gaming you have planned this weekend.

I’m juggling a few different titles right now, and I’m liking all of them. Mainly, though, I am working on a playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past that I started a few weeks ago. For whatever reason, every time I start this game fresh, something comes up and prevents me from finishing it. I am determined not to let that happen this time around, but I am still taking my sweet time with the game. A Link to the Past is a classic for good reason, and I can totally see why. I’m excited to try more of it.

I am also working on Dragon Quest XI S on my Xbox. It’s going pretty well. The game is a cozy, straightforward RPG. It’s a dependable, fun experience to have going in the background.

Finally, I’m playing Halo Reach with friends, as always, and am close to finishing up a co-op run through Halo: Combat Evolved. Thank you, Master Chief Collection.

What did you work on this weekend? Are you playing a brand new game such as No More Heroes 3, are you aimlessly managing your village in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, or are you just doing some good old-fashioned backlogging? Share what you have going on in the comments.
