Ace Attorney

The weekend is upon us at last, and for many of us, that means finally sinking our teeth into a game or two. What does that entail for you? Whether you are knee-deep in the latest release or cruising through your backlog, let’s hear what you’ve got planned.

This weekend, I’m working on wrapping up Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice For All. I’m midway through the infamous third turnabout, and I’ve liked what I’ve played of the game so far, even if it doesn’t quite live up to the first game just yet. I’ve got my hopes set high for the beloved fourth turnabout, and I can’t wait to pop in the third Ace Attorney game – Trials and Tribulations – soon after wrapping this one up.

Otherwise, I’m also chopping down some of the backlog with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3‘s campaign. I started it yesterday and got almost halfway through within two hours. It’s predictable FPS flair, with lots of guns, rat-a-tat-tatting bullets, and exploding buildings. The tight gameplay and surreal scenes such as a decimated New York City skyline in the opening mission, the game is just the sort of mindless fun I’ve been needing lately.

What are you working on this weekend? Are you playing a brand new game? Are you still checking in on your island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Or are you just doing some good old-fashioned backlogging? Share what you have going on in the comments.
