Actual cannibal Shia LaBeouf recreated in an Animal Crossing musical

A wonderful short film has been created by YouTuber dannydinosaur. It’s called “There’s A Murderer On My Animal Crossing Island,” and it’s a musical. “Shia LaBeouf” takes on the role of a cannibal, hunting an innocent villager around their island. It truly is the best musical ever made in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, though there probably isn’t a whole lot of competition on that front yet.

Okay, “There’s A Murderer On My Animal Crossing Island” obviously doesn’t really have Shia LaBeouf in it, but the overall experience and sensation of dread is the same.

Given how family-friendly Animal Crossing: New Horizons is, I’m impressed that a video like this could even be created. There have been some pictures shared on Twitter of Gulliver washed up on beaches with red paint around him, but this is on a totally different level. The pair have put the video together around a song that captures what a lot of people feel about Shia LaBeouf. The original performance of the song of course came from Rob Cantor in 2014, and it is a spectacle to watch all by itself.

I can’t wait to see what the Animal Crossing community creates next and which Hollywood movie stars they can wrangle (or approximate) into their projects.
