Corpse Party: Blood Drive

The cult-classic PC horror series Corpse Party is finally making its way to Nintendo Switch, and it’s coming really soon! Corpse Party: Blood Drive will release on Oct 10, just in time for your October horror game marathon. This will be the second game on Nintendo consoles after Corpse Party: Blood Covered… Repeated Fear on the 3DS.

The launch trailer gives a taste of the strange atmosphere of Corpse Party: Blood Drive. Taking place in a haunted school, the player maneuvers around traps and monsters as you take control of multiple characters. Corpse Party is a character-driven franchise that’ll have you on edge the whole time.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive originally released on the PlayStation Vita in 2014, but it’s better late than never. The original Corpse Party released in Japan in 1996 and has since had several spin-off manga and anime series. With eight games in the series, I’ll be waiting excitedly for more news of ports.

The cute anime aesthetic might throw you off a bit, but this is a cult-classic in Japan for a reason. While you wait for the other games in the series to come to the Switch, give this one a shot, and let us know what you think in the comments.
